Cultivator Shield Identification

The set of shields that came with my farmall 140 do not seem to be correct. I am almost certain it has a 144 cultivator on the tractor and the correct shield for a 144 clamps on the square bar with a special v-bolt. These shields, however stick up so high above the attachment point that you can barely clear your sweeps off the ground before the shield hits the tractor's oil pan. Does anyone know which model of cultivator that this shield type is supposed to be part of?

I'll try this again with a picture

Great info Bob! Your post reminded me that the old IH catalogs on the wisconsin historical society website might have something. . The A138 cultivator had longer arms which pivoted near the front axle (compared to a 144) forcing the shield attachment point further to the rear. That would explain why these shields easily strike the bottom of my tractor. It looks like they could also be from a two row cultivator from an M or H.

FWIW, I have an unused set that came with a 140 bought new in the early '70's and they don't look like the one in your pic.
