Wondering if anyone on here has ever had any experience with a Zaga Potato Digger. I bought one today and don't know much about them, i'm guessing its made overseas? I've attached a photo, digger hasn't been used hardly any, best part was the $800 price tag!!

I have watched a number of YouTube videos from over in England using their potato diggers,

It appeared to me their ground was very loose even at digging time no sealed over hard clay like dirt I have here in west ky,
Their vines were either bush hogged off or were mostly dried up

Machines appeared to work good of course you still have to bend over and pick up the potatos,

As many as I have dug with a fork over the years it would be a marvel to see one of these machines in action,

Good luck with it and please send pictures of it digging your first crop of potatoes, I will be interested in how it works,

Looks like the cross conveyor has hooks for a basket or elevator to catch/move the dug potatoes. Are there some other parts to the machine? Appears the digging "blade" has been replaced...

Yeah I hope I can make something to hook onto it and catch the potatoes, the digger was all that was there. They replaced the blade with a heavier duty one. Bad part is I've got to wait 8-9 months before I can try it out! That's always my luck LOL
