Came across what is some type of IHC gear. I would like to know what this goes to. It is marked B 3 2 0 and stamped IHC.

My guess it is a gear for a planer or fertilizer outfit. The absence of a keyway or drive 'lug' suggests an idler
gear.Another/closer look says maybe a knotter gear from a baler or binder.

I was thinking husking bed on a picker, but I hadn't noticed the lack or a keyway. Guess not.

If you let us know how wide it is and its diameter that would help us narrow it down.

IH used one with a keyway that looks just like that on their potato diggers but it would be 2-3" wide and 3-4" in diameter.

years ago my neighbor had a single row silage chopper that had a couple of feed rollers in it that were driven by a gear that looked something like that. It was probably a 40's vintage chopper. Had an elevator instead of blower to fill the wagon/truck travelling along side.

1938 IHC Parts Price List says Pinion for End Gate Seeder and the price was .45 cents
1930 IHC Price List..is listed under Grain Binders and Reapers for .30 cents
