My Dad has three John Deere manure spreaders. A model C, model E and Model R. All are restored. He is looking to sell them now but has no idea what to ask for them.
Does anyone know what they might be worth? Thanks for the help!

The E is worth the most if any ware close to Amish as I am. Top condition around a thousand, just good working orignal $600+, The R depending on the wheels if they are the bolt on truck wheels like I had they could bolt on a steel wheel, if the type of wheel that is spokes and hub and rim altogether could not use as could not put steel on one made like that. Now if it would be orignal steel would be different. But the R is too big for most and would need a forecart. Model C no parts avaible so would not want.

My Dad had one like in the top pic; it was pretty well corroded away when he got a new spreader. He was able to get a new David Bradley 2-wheel spreader at the end of WWII. I think the DB is still at the farm.
