I bought a tractor with a Landpride finish mower on it. Is there a unique "trick" to pulling PTO shaft off the tractor? My Pioneer PTO simply pulls back to release the lock on the tractor shaft. I don't have an operators manual yet for the mower. Does the lock release twist instead of pull straight back? Thanks.

Many of those QD yokes have a collar that is twisted to release.

I have seen them from Landpride both ways. My Landpride tiller was the pull back style. With my arthritic hands the twist style seems easier. Lubing with silicone lubricant (both PTO shaft and lock mechanism) makes the jobs much easier. I prefer the silicone lubricant as it does not seem to accumulate dirt with its related stickiness as bad.
