1032 new holland bale wagon - pump problem

I need to replace the Eaton Cessa pump on my 1032 New Holland bale wagon. There is no serial number readable on the pump any more and I don't have an owners manual. After a LOT of online searching for better prices then through New Holland, I believe the pump is a 24338-LAB. Can anyone confirm or help me? I have included the link to the part. Thanks, Jennifer.

also .... if I knew the right kind of pump, maybe a Vickers or other brand is cheaper and will do the same job? Thanks, Jennifer

do you have a good hyd shop close to you? if so take your pump to them,, they if they are much of a shop should be able to set you up with a replacement of a reasonable price,, they are a simple pump I would bet NH is crazy high on them, I did not take your #'s and google them but that has worked for me before to find a replacement pump
cnt

Yep,NH is insanely high. About ten years ago I bought a pump for my 1032. Over $800.00.Right in the middle of a big custom stacking job.No time to search for a cheaper alternative. The pump shaft snapped

Over the past few years it seems like NH has become very fond of their parts with prices to match. Suggestion below is good as a good hydraulic shop could match up your pump with a different one or maybe fix yours. You might try Surplus Center as they have lots of pumps and good prices. There are also some NH wrecking yards that could have a used pump.

I cant buy an alternative until I have specs from someone who has an owners manual who can give me the pump specs :-(

Take the pump to a hydralic shop. They can figure it out and supply a new pump.Nor 'rocket science'. Need shaft size, direction of rotation and gallons per minute.Should be some numbers on the pump somewhere.Take the pump off and look.

sadly I have done this .... the place I went was not able to help .... there are no numbers :-(
I might try another shop

Contact Baum Hydraulics in Omaha.

If the pump is not NH-specific, they can come up with a replacement for that part number. If NH has it locked down/made it OEM only they can help you measure components of the pump to arrive at a GPM figure. I believe the GPM vs. pump size/dimensions calculator is still on their website, check it out, or call them.

Once you have a GPM number for the RPM's the pump is running at, a whole new world of replacement pumps sources is available to you, one being surpluscenter.com.
