False Front For Dump Cart

I built a 6'x12' dump cart primarily for hauling wood - it works well outside, but when I'm I'm unloading it in my garage I can't dump it, and it's a bit of a pain to throw it off, then stack it.
I remember when I was a kid seeing silage trucks with false fronts, that through a series of cables and pulleys, would draw the load to the back. I'd like to do something similar with my dump cart, but that was a long time ago to remember how they did it.
Does anybody have any pictures or plans/ideas?
Thanks
Pete

What you need is an old hydrapush spreader. I hauled two of them to the crusher myself,so I know there are some around that aren't fit for hauling manure anymore.

Have you considered one of those truck unloaders that consist of a roller and a tarp? A buddy had one and, as much as I expected it to fail, it actually worked amazingly well. Used on pretty heavy loads of stone too.

Pete, Dad used to build false front silage wagons for resale back in the day. He used a Farmhand kit ?? which had the front moving bulkhead brackets and the back pipe and brackets/bearings. they also offered a electric powered ratchet jack to rotate the pipe and wind the cable. Several brands of long table blowers also had a power take off shaft that would hook to the pipe.
Stop by, I'm usually in the shop this time of year and will give you some ideas on how to hook up one of those HF $50, 2500# 12V remote controled winches to power it.
This is just a quick sketch of what they were.

Thanks guys.
Randy - a hydra-push would be great, but I don't think I've ever seen one in these parts
Thanks Loren - I'll stop by - I actually went by your place this morning on my way to Johnstown - I love that road
