Confirming identity and date of IHC plow share

I dug up an old plow share on our property. It measures about 14.5" across the top, and is stamped with the old IHC logo, "Chilled" and 0-566 DS. Through the (amazing) information on this forum, I understand this to be a chill-cast share for an International Harvester, of the type for rocky/hard soil.

I'd really like to date this share to help with a historical timeline of the property. It still has blue paint. Based on the logo (discontinued in 1946?) and the paint color, I think this may date from 1939-1942. There is a photo here:

Can anyone confirm my detective work? Thanks in advance for any further info -- and for all the knowledge already posted here!

Looks to be IH. It generally went on the back share of a 2 or more bottom plow. Its worth around $50

The 566 share was used on the 14" HA general purpose bottom, introduced in 1929, and the 14" HSKA high speed general purpose bottom introduced in 1939. These "blacksmith share" bottoms were used up into the 1960's but were quickly used in smaller numbers after the Plow Chief bottom was introduced in 1950. So, I would say 1929-1955ish, but it appears you have it narrowed down further with the logo. Keep in mind the plow share could have sat in inventory at the factory or on a dealer's shelf long after that particular logo was discontinued.
