Around here there are no blacksmiths to sharpen a plow share if you need it, and on my cub I use to plow my garden and some neighbors the original was worn out. After doing some digging I found a company called Ploworx that is making shares for some of the old plows. He has bought out the dies, etc. from another plow company that closed and is still getting setup on many of them, but is great to work with. He charged $115 plus shipping, but I figure it will out last me, and it does a good job.
 
Going to give away my secret. I have an auto search set up on eBay for "Ferguson plow" and anytime someone lists something that has anything to do with a Ferguson plow eBay sends me an email. Just bought two NOS shares for my MF plow for ~$40.00 shipped. Hard to beat ~$20.00 for new OEM shares.
 
Whenever possible I try to replace the frog(s) on my plows so that they can take the newer throw away shares. Makes life much easier and cheaper to buy/change shares.
