I have a No.44 2 bottom plow I picked up at an auction has all new tires on it and new lays on the plow I've plowed with it couple of times I have the mechanical rope trip lift on this plow does anyone know if I could convert it his over to a hydraulic lift?

Many were converted over the years. See if you can find a parts manual to see what's needed. Seems like not that much and can be fabricated in most any blacksmith shop.

Yes it was avaiable with steel wheels and with versions that carry the tail wheel or versions that the tail wheel carried the back of the plow and built in 3 different frame sizes, 14-16",12-14" &10-12" And while it could be converted over it will be a bigger job than you expect. Probably cheaper just to buy a hydrolick lift plow and sell your present plow.

I've got a perfect old original operator/assembly/parts manual for that plow if interested. Shows the differences in them and all parts, set-up,adjustments etc. E-mail is open.

I have a five bottom that has the hydrolic and ground lift. Very simple to add. Would sell the bracket but maybe too far away.
