little genius plow

HERE WE GO AGAIN GUYS, I need your help. I have a 2 bottom little genius plow that sits out front of my shed. Theres a bar with a series of holes that hold up the hitch, I have a chunk of steel, but no measurements for the bar, could you guys help me again? Thanks Craig

I don't know part-names for plows... but do you mean the piece of flat stock up front that allows for a bit of side-to-side adjustment? See yellow arrow.

If yes, I can get the dimensions on ours, once we wander outside later (Saturday coffee time right now).

Sweetfeet thanks for your reply,I don't have a camera to help with this. No it isn't that bar, it goes from the tongue back to the frame, and it adjusts or will hold up the tongue. Nice pic by the way....thanks, Craig

If it is truly a Genius you do need such a part. If it is a Wonder you need as the part to hold the tongue as it does not gave a tail wheel. One of each out in my scrap.

Well, Moonlite I'm 99% sure it's a genius, it do have the tail wheel, and from the numbers stomped in it pretty sure to. If'n you have the real part what would you want for it? And I'm in Wisconsin so it would more than likely have to be sent if you was willing... thanks, otherwise could you give me the measurements, thank.....Craig

Thanks on the pic.

My husband is wondering if you have a Little Wonder... as we have two Little Genius plows and they don't have any part that holds the tongue/hitch up (but we think that a Wonder does).

farmall plowboy,

Here is plow we saw at auction. I posted pics of it a few years ago and YT folks told us it is Little Wonder plow with forged beams. I assume you are looking for the piece up front with the yellow arrow.

At the back, the other arrow is pointing to its rolling landslide (this is not a tail wheel - though to me it rather looks like one).

I don't have dimensions for the part - but maybe the pic will be helpful... or that you can get an original from the other YT poster. Good luck.

I just pulled ours out to the field today for dad's farm auction in 2 weeks. I think it's a wonder, after liking at the last picture.

To Moonlite and Sweetfeet please accept a humble apology. That's what I get for trying to scour thru the papers I have piled up. That plow of mine is a little wonder, Sweetfeet that pic you sent with the arrows was very good thanks.... now just to get some measurements. Thanks again, Craig

You're welcome. Just sorry we don't have one to measure for you.

Maybe you could do a call-out to Donovan from WI... if his dad's plow is a Little Wonder, maybe he could measure it before their auction to get you overall dimensions and hole size/placement.

I'll be out there again this weekend, but I feel like something with that bar, or the bracket on the plow end may be busted. If I think of it, I'll put a tape measure on it.

Every day I was out there I forgot to bring a tape measure out to the field. I'll have a free more chances though, just gotta throw my tape in the truck.

Thanks, for thinking of me. I used to run into the problem with not having a tape in the truck until I bought one just dedicated for the truck. Now it's just everywhere else I am. Craig...
