Where to buy c-20 replacement coulters

My coulters on my c20 plow are getting pretty worn and would like to install new ones. All the rest of the coulter assembly is there, but I am looking to see where to purchase new blades? Are they difficult to change?

Thanks!

They are not difficult at all to change. Take out the 1/2 inch x approximately 7 inch long carriage bolt. Take out the disk blade and hubs. Grind or cut off the old rivets and reverse the assembly process with 5/16 inch bolts as rivets are hard to find and hard to work with IMHO. My knowledge is that the original ones were assembled with hot rivets so they were tight. They were also 3 hole for the rivets while many/most of the replacement blades may be 6 hole for increased adaptation. That is no problem as the extra holes will be covered up when assembled. Sources for disk blades would include Mike at Duffield Equipment, (717)552-1951, Steve Smith, the Plow Peddler, (419)618-0017, and Steve Rea at Ploworx, (330)332-9386. Andrew Tucker and Andrew Ginter, both in IN, may be other sources. I have some extras here if they will work for you, (217)586-3844. Your choice for blades will include plain and notched to be original and then 15 inch, 16 inch, and 18 inch for diameter. The smaller diameter blades take the PO1383 yoke while the larger diameter ones take the PO1627 yoke. You can determine the choice(s) for blade diameter once you check your yoke part number. Hope this helps.

This is where I get my coulters. These guys also have some good moldboard plow parts as well. Their magazine that came with the parts I ordered has been really nice to have for ordering items as well.

The link I attached should take you to the Case-IH coulters (prior to the Case-IH merger).
