I bought a 4560 john deere that's 1000 PTO only. I've a 8118 kuhn slinger that's 540. This spreader comes 540 or 1000 i assume that they are geared different, if so was wondering if i should change the PTO to a 1000 on the spreader and run the tractor slower or just use an adapter.
