JD 4B landsides

I am in need of a landside for my 4B plow,
part number 7983.I have scoured the internet
looking for one but no luck. Anyone out
there got any advice or places incan get
one?? Thanks!!!!!
 
They are easy to make. I usually make the front one longer & the back one a little longer. It helps keep the plow running straight. I know that is what the tail wheel is suppose to do. But this helps. Take old one off & clamp to the correct material .Drill your holes & countersink your holes for the plow bolts. Bolt on plow and make sure every thing fits tighten bolts and Zap the heads with electric welder to keep bolt from turning. It makes it easier if you need to take off. They will last a long time play farming.
 

Find an appropriately dimensioned 3/8" steel plate, chamfer the front end and Tack-Weld it right on...Leave it about 6" Longer than the original landslide..

Easy, looks great and works well...

If there is any "Bow" in it (not totally Straight), turn the "Bowed-Out" side toward the Left ( Soil Side ) to apply a little pressure on the Furrow wall..just as
the rear one has...
