JD No 1 Hay crimper I bought what years were they built?

Mid 50's and they were realy noisy but worked very well. Only one roll was driven and that is why the noise. on the 21 they had both rolls driven and that got rid of the noise. The No. 1 used a 4:00x12" tire. Check the rods that hold the sections of the big roller together. They will break and the rod ends get cought in sides of machine. Ours someone had welded the sections together but had not taken out the busted rods.
