IH 420 Plow? Thoughts?

Anyone know much about them? Looking at a 3 x 16, 3 point IH 420 for use behind my Super M (yes it will handle it. Wondering if these are "Super Chief" bottoms, or if they can be converted to them? Another concern is the weight of the plow, will the Super M pick it off the ground? Thanks! Bryce

these 420s do a good job of plowing

Super Chief bottoms do not have a plow share plus a separate point, just a share. Plow Chief bottoms have the separate point.

Hello Bryce, a pic would help to id the bottoms. I think if you had weights on the front wheels you would be fine.
