Yeah I hope not but not likely ! Lol. We had an easy year last year but wny weather is tricky ! I am just getting tired of clearing the snow with the farmall 300 and back blade ! This should be a little easier and comfortable on the 1755 Oliver with a cab ! I know any parts I might need down the line such as sprockets, bearings etc can be bought a lot of different places so I guess what it really is doesn't matter ! I am just curious !

We are located in western new York. And our area usually gets hit pretty hard. I know the drive shaft is not safe and I plan on replacing it because it has a slight kink and wobbles !

Thanks to all who replied ! Bringing it in now so I can go through it and clean and paint ! Will be a good project for rainy days !

I don't know what brand it is, but there's been one exactly like that on my Grandpa's farm for at about 30 years. It's used a little almost every winter. Only thing I see is that it's not supposed to have that chain on it to rotate the spout. It should have a cable wrapped around the spout once then hooked to those arms to rotate.

Thanks Dave ! I kinda figured the chain wasn't right ! I'll have to look up some pics of them with the cable so I can be sure I get it right. Don't want to have problems when I need it !
