Help identify Snow blower

Hi all ! It's been several years since my last post on the farm all forum. I have been lurking and figured it was time to come back ! Anyway I need some help identifying a snow blower I bought from a friend yesterday. I know pictures really help but can't post them yet. So what I have is: 3 point hitch two stage blower, 84 inches wide by 32 inches tall with a 30 inch fan. The original color appears to be blue and from what I can tell by the small bit of sticker that is left is that the first letter of the brand name begins with a. No other letters left nor is there any tag anywhere. This is an older blower that is heavily built with a corrugated chute and auger drive chains located on the left side. The friend I bought it from never knew what brand it is. I only had to give 450 for it and it is in good working order so guess I didn't do bad no matter what kind it is ! Just curious ! Any help is appreciated. Will post pics when I can. Thanks !

Don't know what the brand of the snow blower is; just wanted to remind you to walk your yard at least two times removing anything that you might possibly make contact with after the snow gets deep. Thing look different under a blanket of snow - and the hazard to your blower isn't where you think it is!

Thanks Dick2 ! I usually go around and pick up anything I might plow up during the winter and stake things off pretty well ! Here in western NY we can get some decent snowfall. Last year wasn't bad but have had some real bad years and being on top of a hill and living in the snow belt doesn't help ! Hopefully the new toy will make things a little easier ! Looking forward to not having snow piled everywhere making more drifts and not fixing so many ruts to fix in the spring ! I think my 300 and back blade might be feeling bad about the new purchase !

Surely an Allied, now owned by Beuhler. Email them they can help and send you a parts book. If you can't get it I can send you a copy. If you set it up on a 3 point check that the shaft doesn't bottom out when it's down and swings side to side. BTDT.

Thanks for the info Mike. I am still sure though. I pulled up allied blowers on the net and none looked like this one. Actually of all the blowers I have seen have the auger drive chains and sprockets opposite of mine. This one has drive on the left and all I have seen are on the right. Hopefully pics coming soon.
