As I recall, the rear gangs bolted to the axle on the 50. Then the 2510 had three point, so Dad got a different rear gang. But in both cases, everything was lifted using the rear rockshaft. I have two sets of the little auxiliary lift arms that bolt to the rockshaft of a new gen. tractor to provide front lift. We kept the old two row frames and used them for bean pullers. Lifted from the rear also.
 
99% of the ones I have seen or used ran the pipes back to rockshaft. With dual remotes you could rig front rockshaft attachment to lower one side or other for point rows.
 
That is a 40 cultivator with numbered series mounts. Lots of them made, not as many are left. I have two of them. Mike
