WOODS finish mower

My brother is offering to give me a Woods finish mower. It is the type that runs off a belt to drive cutters. Is this a good enough mower to spend some money on to fix up and use?

Neighbor let me borrow his 5 ft, King kutter finish mower, I used it to cut some taller grass for him, then cut my woods lot,
It did a good job on the shorter grass in my wood lot, but it's no bush hog or rotary cutter, just not made for the heavy taller grass
Name: finish mower

In no time it ruined the old drive belt, about $45, one of the spindles is loud and going out, per my friend that has owned one for years, you must keep the spindles greased about ever two hrs,

But past that is does a good job if the blades are sharpe and property set up,

I have a Woods L59 mounted on 1949 Super A. Keep the blades sharp, belt tight, tractor tuned up and it does a great job. I have had it for over 20 years with no problems except replaced the long drive belt once....Over $100. My son used it once to mow an area in the center of a block of houses grass about a foot tall and it mowed right thru it at a reduced speed. The tractor is not for sale any more, my daughter uses it to mow a ballfield at her church
