Need some restoration help

I'm working on my two row lister for my M john Deere. I've been very surprised at how much of the equipment is there and in decent shape. Of the 10 zerks, all took grease.
I'm stuck right now as I have two sets of parts stuck to one another. The pin and the beveled cast pinion for the lower hopper drive are stuck to each other. I've tapped on
the end of the pin after using penetrating oil as well as a long soak in diesel. On the other planter box I have the slotted pin and the final drive cast pinion stuck to one
another. I broke the end off of my 24" screw driver trying to get that pin loose. These also have had a decent soak time. My greatest fear is breaking the cast pieces.
Certainly don't want to mess up either one of the pins as well. Curious if I try heating the cast pinions to try and drive the pins out? Also curious if I need to take them to
a machine shop and try to have them pressed out. You guys that do this all the time need to tell me what to dom or not to do as I fear the replacement parts are likely no were
in existence.

Try red hot heat followed immediately by quenching with water so that you can hold on to the parts from a temperature standpoint. Then a hydraulic press, preferably with an air powered 'hydraulic' jack for power. That worked for me last week. A good week of pre-soaking with a good quality (Your choice!) penetrant first should certainly help. Maybe even an air chisel with its vibrating effect may help if a press is not available.
