What loader brand is ok

I have a 2001 NH tn65 4wd with heavy duty hydraulics and need to buy a front loader I am not very impressed with the oem choices. Dealers here in the mountains are few and far between. I have a quote from an Iowa mfg. for $8300.00 don't know if this is good or bad. Discussion on loaders would certainly help.

Even though you dont like it,I think the loader made for your tractor would be your best bet. Otherwise, find a loader sold/serviced by a local dealer.

We have a TN 75a with factory loader and it has never had any problems..now the tractor is a different story! The loader will lift more than the tractor will hold.

I got a Westendorf on my 85 horse Case-IH. It is the commercial grade and I really like it. I bought it knew but repainted it before I ever put it on. It came painted silver and I knew that would cause reflection problem when using at nite with lights so I painted it flat black.

Bob, my dad has a Allied/Buhler loader on his 6420 and had one on his 4230. No issues with either. FIL had a Miller on his 966 and one on his 5250. No issue with either. My opinion of both: The Allied is good for "normal" loader use. The Miller you could abuse and have no issues. VERY heavy construction.

I used to sell loaders,,, my fav choices was Allied, GB (Great Bend now Woods/ Bushhog brand) Miller and Ezee-On Westendorf were well built but then I thought a bit heavy in weight, later Duall units are ok as well I hated the older ones as the cylinders seemed to leak faster than most, I sold a good number of Allieds the last years and never a single complaint on one ever, well designed and mounted on all I sold
cnt

My cousin has an Allied, I have a Westendorf. No problems from either of them. My Westendorf is a bit faster and easier to mount or remove. Quick attach buckets are nice, too.

ALO Quicke.

Challenge will be finding brackets for that "old" of a tractor.

I had spoke with both Allied and ALO reps about 5 years about for getting brackets for a then 15 year old tractor and they didn't say no, but didn't exactly say no issue.

Check out Koyker Industries. He's up there in the midwest somewhere. Had a dealer down her close by. I got one years ago for a 40 year old JD 4020 and it came with most everything, great price, great delivery, great instructions, great machine. All I had to do was to find/fabricate a place to put the controls. Bolted right up to my JD frame. Few scraps of steel fixed the control mounting problem.....thinking back, I may have had to buy the Cross dual remotes and hoses but TSC could/may have solved that problem.
