drill acreage meter

have a CIH 5400 drill and the acreage meter is shot- it is a mechanical rotary type- not a flipper type. I have looked in TSC, etc. and all they have is the flipper type that balers use. Would like to replace but not spend the $208 that Case wants for a replacement. Anyone know where I could buy one?

my dad had a planter or drill about 40 years ago that had an after market acreage meter kit on it i think the name of it was meter man maybe you could google them to see if they are still in business

Yes, Meter Man was a big supplier of those units. If calibrated properly, they were very accurate.

I think Shoup Has them for around $40.
