Would this old sprayer be worth repairing? And if so, whats the best way to start?

Looks like a portable tank to me??? Don't see a pump or any piping, lines, valves that a sprayer would need.

Like Bob said, not a sprayer but just a portable tank mounted on a old farm trailer, possibly to haul water to livestalk in a remote place.

There was two old bachelor cousins over west of me here who used to sit a 55 gallon barrel in a small trailer and used it for a sprayer. They had a short boom that they hung on the back of it. I don't know that they ever got a real sprayer until just a few years before they retired.
Ain't saying they were cheap, but they sure knew how to get by without spending much money.

I would NOT use that metal tank for spraying modern chemicals. Some of them are corrosive to steel. Also you have rust issues plugging nozzles. You could sue the trailer and then get a small poly tank and make your self a sprayer. I think you will find you will have as much invested as buying a more complete sprayer would cost.

Also you did not tell us what and how your wanting to spray. If it is just spot spraying the 15-30 gallon poly tank with 12 volt diaphragm pump sprayer are hard top beat and do not cost that much.

Around here, (SWMO.), old Clark pull type sprayers and such go for next to nothing at sales if you can catch one. Pop traded his old 400 gallon aluminum tank model to a guy for 4 IHC suitcase weights a few years back. gm

Looks like a top link bar for a 3 point hitch on the right side of the tank. Probably worth more than all the rest.
