Have some weedy stuff that I want to get off a field. Neighbor has an old 855 auto wrap parked on the fenceline that worked when he parked it a few years ago.
Can I run that thing with no twine just to get the stuff in manageable balls to remove from the field?
Never ran a round baler before and the neighbor isn't around much to consult with.
Anyone care to give me a crash course on this thing?
Thanx.

You can do that just carry the bales to the edge of
the field before dumping them because they won't
stay together without twine. And DO NOT try to over
fill the bale while this is true with any round baler , a
belt baler is much more forgiving while bad things
happen quickly on a chain baler. Also oil the chains
up good before starting
