I just purchased a 1418 rotary mower. It seems that the right side of mower wants to cut lower than the rest. Are the tierods for fore and aft leveling? May have to get an owners manual but thought I would ask here first. Thanks!

Yes tie rods adjust fore & aft not side to side. Check to be sure both spindle assemblies are bolted in same relationship to square axle. Also check sq axle for twisting.

Check to see if each side has the same type of blade. I know folks who have installed straight blades on one side and offset (pickup) blades on the other so the blades would not hit and destroy things. Mike
