Vicon CM2400 Disc Cutter Rebuild

Any advice on doing a rebuild on this mower. I have it torn apart and have a couple of bad gears. Should I change all seals on each gear? Any advice appreciated.

Just completed a job on the same model for a neighbor. His had a 3" crack in the lower pan and the blade bolts were worn almost in half. How much metal shavings were in the fluid and how tight the bearings are would determine what I would do. Its a pain to disassemble that mower again and bearings are cheap.

I tore this down about a year ago and started checking on parts. Sat it down and now have to start over. I think I am about ready to kick it off again. More questions to follow I'm sure! Thanks for the advice!

It is possible for the seal between the gearbox and cutterbar to fail which drains all the oil out of the gearbox into the cutterbar, ruining it. I had to replace the gearbox on a CM2400 which I bought. New gear box was cheaper than buying gears and bearings and rebuilding gearbox.
