I did some adjustments on my 1207 today. Adjusted some guards and the holddowns, lowered the reel and changed the cutting height. I knocked down some junky hay that I don't bale and it worked perfectly. I tried to cut a few rounds of good hay and had a lot of plugging. It seems to wad up between the tines/bats and the board, right in front of the rolls. Then the wad hangs down and flattens the hay in front of the knife. I have the tines timed with the bolt just forward of the middle of the slot as recommended. Seemed to be worst going downhill. The hay is cut clean but doesn't want to go through the rolls. Raised the height and that helped a little. We got a little rain last night so it was damp near the ground but not bad. I welcome any suggestions, I only cut half of what I intended to and gave up.
