Hayliner 270 newholland

Looking for information on the machine got it set to make good knots and probably ran 50-75 bales through it but I keep breaking the front chain that connects from the gearbox to the shaft that runs the knotter and hay fork seems that my knotters turn hard wondering if anyone has any information on adjustment to make it easier to turn it doesn't break the shear bolt but I keep breaking the front chain

Nothing in the manual about breaking the chain but there's a section on shearing knotter drive bolts. Sounds like they should give before the chain.
Dirty Knotter - clean knotters
Improper adjustment of knotter brakes - adjust brakes
Too much endplay in knotter stack - adjust end play
Needle yoke striking bottom of bale chamber - adjust needle yoke rod.

I found a owners manual online that I purchased and printed, lots of info and pics, well worth the price.

Your chain is probably worn out. Replace it. Check other chains as well As was said by Destroked........ Buy the book,ASAP. Then adjust and set up by the book.

Two things come to mind.
#1 chain is bad. If you can pull the chain up in the center of the sprocket say a 1/4 inch or more the chain is bad.
#2 is the teeth on the sprockets are sharp to a point the sprocket is worn out so you need to replace both the chain and the sprockets
