JD 350 SICKLE

I need a new (to me) knife head for a JD 350 Sickle Mower.

Does anyone have any idea on where I can get one on a broke guys budget in the Sherman Texas area?

New or Used (I guess used will work).

First of all, is the sickle drive "head" (wobble box) intact as it is RARE to break a knifehead.

I love those mowers but failure inside the "drive head" is not uncommon, and then the knife head breaks.

IF the drive is OK and you just need the knife head, they are about $130, Sickle Service (on the web) has 'em for $88.16.

For $150 and up you can get a complete aftermarket knife.

I "think" the wobble box is ok. Everything seems tight and serviceable. Where would you suggest I find the complete aftermarket knife? I don't want to have to pull this thing apart again so if I am going to be in there doing work I might as well replace as much of it as I can while I am in there.

You can buy 'em from Sickle Service on the 'web, or to save shipping, is there any farm supply store nearby that may carry them?

TSC used to sell mower knives, don't know if they can still get them on an order?
