ford 532 square baler

What PART of the knotter?Bill hook?Wiper arm?Completeassembly? Something has hit something in there.Something came loose. An adjustment came undone.A foreign object(rock/stick) has gotten in there. Those knotters are fairly 'strong'. Something hit something.........Further investigation on your part will be in order.

the hole the right side broke off the shaft replaced it with a used one and made sure everything was straight and tight and the very first bale and snaped the right side again

The only thing I can think of is that the needle is striking the knotter frame. It's odd that it didn't break the needle... Is the needle frame assembly loose enough that it could bounce at speed? I mean... you can run the thing around by hand or at low speed and it may seem OK but put it up to PTO speed and it's not the same...

Well, I don't know what to tell you.... but not to overstate the obvious, something is NOT right. I'd try and figure out what that is exactly before you go breaking another knotter frame that was already made of unobtainium. Is the knotter shaft straight? I mean both visibly bent and not also twisted?
Have you taken a complete stack off another 532 or just the broken parts?

After breaking and replacing did you run it through by hand a few times first? As Rod said usually the needle breaks but what you are describing it sounds like the needle is hitting the knotter. You need to clean the hay out of it, trip it then crank it over a little at a time and check for interference as the needles come up. You may find something totally different, but with the hay out of it, it will crank over easily. if it works OK with no hay you can manually run just a little hay in then trip it to see how it does.

(quoted from post at 05:39:29 06/21/16) I have a ford 532 baler my problem is when i tied a not the right notter snapped off what would have caused this
Usually some pictures will help show the problem to others. BTW do have the operators manual for this baler? is this a new occurence?

Check where the gears for the bill hook and twin disk run against the cam gear on the main shaft. I have seen the teeth get worn and damaged and when the knotter tried to tie the gears jammed and the entire assembly tried to rotate which will destroy the knotter frame.

(quoted from post at 18:26:54 06/23/16) You guys need to figure out just what he is calling a 'notter'.

Perhaps you need to figure it out but it is obvious to everyone else.
