Cut some hay with Hesston 1010

Bought this mower off craigslist as a backup.Fixed a few things on it adjusted it and greased it.Decided to mow some hay with it and see how it works.Besides plugging it a few times it worked good.I cut some oat/timothy/clover hay that I planted this spring.Noticed that it crimped/crushed the oats real good.I left a little standing as I want to cut the rest with my discbine that has impeller conditioning fingers and see if there's a difference in dry down time.Guess you could call it a field test.

Do you have the rubber on steel rollers?

My Hesston 1110 has this set up (crimps) and I am very happy with the results/dry down.
