Manure Spreader ID

I'm trying to identify the maker/year of this manure spreader I recently purchased. There are remnants of red paint on the frame and some of the wood. The gentlemen I bought it from
throughout it was an Avery. Also if anyone know the correct paint scheme and if there were any decals it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Craig

Not sure but it looks a lot like the Sears - David Bradley manure spreader that dad bought in the early 50s. The frame on it was red and wheels were green but don't remember the color of wood.

The ratchet mechanism looks exactly like my McCormick 200H (horse) ground drive spreader, but everything else looks different. Different IH model, maybe?

Yes, it's a David Bradley. Original wood color was red. I think brother still has ours at the farm. Pitched that spreader full many, many, many times.

Those are bolt on wheels, Avery did not have that and they were spoke wheels. Cannot see the drive for beaters but Avery used a single chain setup for that unlike a lot of other makes. The Avery could have been had as a 4 wheel spreader but only have seen a picture of that or a 2 wheel tractor spreader. Mine left with a broken axlearound 45 years ago. Capacity was same as the New Idea No. 9 spreader at 60-65 bushels. We had both and the Avery spreader was the second piece of machinery that I myself bought.

What size are your wheels? David Bradley used both 15-16" or 20" depending on model and size. Smallest was a 75 bu. size with the small wheels.
