Hello,
I just bought a couple NH 495's, one in overall worn out shape but with a wobble box rebuilt about 350 acres ago, the other is relatively decent shape but busted up wobble box. Together they were quite cheap (a quarter the price of a working 495 around here) so i figured it was worth the work. Begain the job today and I'm not certain of the best way to go about removing the wobblebox. It looks to me the best way is to remove the support that both the wobble box hub and wheel are attached to and remove them from the haybine as a complete unit. The four bolts are not easy to get at (though possible with the right extentions) but I thought it might be worth my time to ask and see if this was the best way to go about it or is there another way/something I'm not seeing?
