New Holland 7060 round baler

I have a new 7060 New Holland round baler that rolls a real solid bale except the last 3 or 4 inches which is really soft.It always tears the netwrap on the right side every time while wrapping a bale.
Anyone have a clue what is going on?

The local dealer has made several service calls to no avail

There is a way to adjust the tension of the net. This should be discussed in the manual. As far as the net tearing
1. It could be from the tension problem.
2. It could be a burr on the duck bill.
3. The roll of net may be too far to the right.

There are a few variables that could be causing the problem, but when you get it set right the net wrap is the only way to go! With experience problem solving will come easier and you will have fewer problems with net than twine. Nathan
