I have been using a hayliner 67 for the past 4 summers. It works great but I am noticing that my bale tension rods are starting to bend and will probably need replaced soon. The rods look to be 85 dollars a piece.... I never liked the bale tension setup for the 67 and was wondering if anyone knew if the tension system on the 67 could be replaced with a "newer" style, such as the ones found on the 273. Please let me know

I used to have a 67 baler. I assume you are referring to the 2 rods at the back of the bale chamber with the springs on them. I don't remember the rods ever bending and if they had I would probably have taken them off and straightened them. I looked on my 270 NH baler and the rods were straight, also they looked like the 67 tension assembly, so I doubt if there is much difference among the older models.
