Was using my 350 with the front mount 2 row ccultivater doing corn, I hit a hard patch and broke a casting bracket that holds the parallel linkage on one side, the numbers on the frame say 455 model number?????, does anyone have one for parts or a whole one for sale, can send pictures for comparison, the parts broken are cast, thanks, rod

My guess is that you can have the busted bracket welded. i think nickel rod was the standard but now I have heard that there is a new rod that supposedly works great. The new rod is not cheap, $5-$7 per stick. The guys at the crank shop mentioned it for repairing a cracked engine block.

Standard repair for years and years to repair busted cast was brazing with a brass rod and gas torch with a welding tip.
