530 JD Baler Belt Lacing Clamps and Rod

On my 530 baler one of the belts has one clasp that is apart.
The rest of them on that belt are ok. The rod that hold the
ends together needs replacing. What does everyone use for
rod material? The clasp is not the wire type but more of an
individual style with several of them lined up together. I can
post a pic later this weekend. Would welding rod work in an
emergency?

Looked on eBay and it looks like Alligator rivet style. The one
clasp on the end is worn thru at the rod pivot end. The part
that clamps to the belt is ok. As I said it is like each one is
individual. If I can replace just the one and slip a new rod in
there that would be great. I'll try to get a picture of it.

The pin JD parts number is E86147. The lacing JD parts number is E86147. I've never seen a portion of lacing replaced just belt cut at edge of lacing to install new lacing. Tisco offers the lacing so this site(YT parts) could possibly supply these lacings.

Here are some pictures of the one belt on my 530 JD baler. Any advice on the splice condition is appreciated. I may repost to bump to the top.

Splice looks good to me. I suggest installing a new pin in lacing.

The last one on the right is secure to the belt but the rod worn through the metal loops. I was wondering if this type of clasp can be replaced one at a time in a situation like this. Seems like they are individual.

Thanks for lacing wear clarification as I couldn't see the wear you referred to.

Problem with trying to replace individual segments of lacing would be removing old worn out segment without further damaging belt. Normally to replace complete lacing one just cuts belt off right next to lacing for a fresh lacing location.
