would like to restore fathers old cultipacker. 3 piece / 14 ft. . had a wood tung originally.Has some green paint. He thought it was a Western brand. Notched wheels have 4in centers and 26 points with a peg for driving on one side, LS7 on notched wheels. It has been around over 50 yrs.

Sounds like a 'Western'. Does it have wooden bearings?

yes. some have completely rotted away. Have one good enough for pattern

Sounds kinda like mine. It has a set of pegged wheeles, but they are separated by wheels with a flange in the center. They have wood bearings. I replaced them 30yrs ago with hard wood blocks I had a lathe man drill out to 2in if I remember correctly It is 3 section. My nieces husband has the center section he glommed onto for his deer plot without me knowing it. It has a metal tongue made for a tractor, but I doubt if its original.
