Can anyone ID this cultipacker? Has a grease zerk (from pic) on each end. Width is 5ft wide.

Thanks!

Thanks!

Haven't seen it - yet.

Typically the Brillion models I've seen have an "X" cast on the end of the hub - but haven't seen them all......

Thanks again,
Bill

OK - my brother picked this cultipacker up for me today. Until a few minutes ago, I hadn't seen it in person. He initially said it wasn't a Brillion - which is why I asked for an ID.

He said when they lifted it in the truck, he stopped them and rolled everything over by hand - everything moved freely - good!

It is a Brillion - letters casted in one side. Seller said model PD-5, but I can't really find any reference to that anywhere or on the cultipacker. The frame has been welded in several places - wondering if it was cut down in width somewhere along the way.

Would have preferred a 6ft, but liked (based on the seller's pics and my brother's inspection) what I was seeing. Looked at several cultipackers over the winter and most had wheels busted, one had a piece of wood for a tongue. I think this is about as good as I could do for now.

Bottom line - it is what it is, it's heavy, at minimum the MF50 diesel ought to pull it around easy enough - we'll see.

I'll be using it shortly to mash in some teff grass seed on a couple of acres we've reclaimed this Spring for hay.

Thanks!
Bill

There Brillion for sure, These are also called pups . There were sold to be used with a larger one that 2 hitches put on ether side of the main one. A 10' main and 2 5' pups you can cover 20' behind a disk or harrow-gadder and they work great like this. They can be pricey to buy them now because of all the deer plot guys. Bandit

I pull an 8ft tandem packer with my Allis Chalmers CA 28HP so the MF won't have any problem. You could probably sell that small one for 2X what you can get a larger one for since lots of people are looking for the small packers to put in wildlife plots.
