mh plow hitch

I have a Massey Harris two bottom plow on steel-- not sure of the model but I think it was a common one-- from the 1950's. I'm looking for the release hitch that hooks up to the tractor. PO has just a hole for a pin-- doesn't seem safe for when you hang up on ledge. Anyone have that hitch they want to sell?

Don't have hitch. But couple of questions. When out of ground does it ride on a tail wheel? Model 28 or carry tail wheel? Model 27. I had a 3 mottom No. 28 on rubber with hydrolic lift that I used and dismantled one with clitch lift for parts 40 some years ago.

The tail wheel on is on the ground when the plows are up. Now I remember it is a 27-- Who has got a hitch that will fit on that? I guess the PO just used a bolt that he figured would break if the plows hung up on a rock but I would prefer to get a hitch. There were many of these plows in the fencerows a few years ago but all the ones I know of got scrapped when metal price was high. In fact, one person gave me two of these but the local scrapper snagged them and scrapped them before I could get them home. The fellow who had given them to me figured I had sent the scrapper and his brother to fetch the plows. The one I have I got with a MH 30 tractor that had been sitting for fifteen years but fired right up after I changed the points and plugs.... It might be nice to use the MH 30 with the MH 27 plow...
