Hesston 1010 update

Bought this a week ago.A few items needed fixing...repaired a broken roll pressure link pin.Replaced suction line and some other old cracked out hydraulic hoses.Greased and hooked to tractor,cut some wet grass to try it out(raining here).Worked good!Could tell it was crimping the grass like it should.

Nice looking setup. Now for some dry weather!! Our big tractor when I was young was an IH 656. Yours looks to be a gear drive, ours was a low clearance hydro. Spent a lot of time pulling a PT-10 back of it.

You 1010 looks really good. I bought a 1120 a few months ago, and after reading about them and talking to the neighbor I bought it. My brother didn't think much of it until today. I mowed extremely wet and heavy hay and it was a chore but today when I checked the hay it was a lot drier than expected after an absolute down pour last evening.
