Anyone know where I could get a belt powered piece of equipment that I could run off my JD Unstyled A? Planer, saw, rock crusher, ... It would be nice for something practical that I could use someday.

Yeah that's pretty cool. I grew up next to Rock River Thresheree an see that quite a bit. Only thing is is that's quite a bit of work and many moving parts to keep going for me at this time. I was just thinking of something on a smaller scale for now.
 
I have a burr mill that I have used on my VAC fine. Of course you have to have some corn or something to shovel into it. (Picked mine by hand).

Have a large squirrel cage fan that I could belt up to if I had a pulley for it but I dont have a practical use for it.

Unfortunately, craigslist doesn't have many belt powered items for sale. I think auctions will be the best bet to pick up belt powered items.
 
Would help to know where you are at. Don't think you are close to me here in Ohio. I do have a saw.
 
That fan be nice for outdoor picnic . Keep it down low and get a breeze going. Run it on full throttle when you want to clear the paper plates off the table!
 
I have a belt driven buzz saw mounted on a Farmall B and also makes a good counter weight for loader.

I had also thought about making a small section of drying bin floor that the fan could connect to. Taking that to the hot shows in august it would be nice for the visitors to walk across the floor and have cool air blowing up past them.
 
U could get a Buzz Saw, and buy a bundle of slabs from a mill to put on a exhibition
U could get a hammermill, and grind up grain
U could get a fanning mill, or a burr mill
U could get a thresher
U could get a husker shredder
U could get a stationary bailer.
