restrict spray rig pressure

If I adjust the spray rig pressure to it's lowest setting, the adjustment knob could fall off.

Is there any way to restrict the pressure, so that I can use the pressure valve for lower pressures. With the valve backed all the way out, and all 3 boom sections spraying, it will usually run at 10 to 15 psi. That makes me have to travel at B-2 or B-3 shifting. This can get a little rough in pastures.

I'm thinking to put a washer or restriction in a line, but where to put it ?

Your tips are too big.You need to put smaller tips on the sprayer.A smaller tip will allow higher pressure wth less ground speed and apply less solution and be more accuret.Less pressure will efect your spread pattern and be less effective.

Delta and Kelly have it . You can do either one to achieve the goal you are trying to do. If you are in the plains states where water is more of a premium. I would get the smaller nozzles. Beware that the less water method with the smaller nozzles can also cause a problem with poorer coverage of the foliage you are trying to hit. Applying less than about 12-14 gallon per acre is where that can start to begin to have that problem. If the weeds are taller like over about 18" then you might wantr to go the more water route for the better coverage.

Yea, under 15psi is getting pretty odd flow for droplet size, and spread pattern.

Add more water, I try to run about 20psi for good coverage.

Depends what you are trying to spray I suppose, but that just sounds too low a volume.

I never tried to use that low of pressure. I try to run about 30 lbs. I wouldn't think 10 or 15 lbs would do a very good job.
