Trailer deck

Hello all, I'm thinking this is as good a place as any for this question: what's the best sealer to put on a wooden trailer deck.

used diesel motor oil after its absorbed throw some sand on it for traction.

We used used motor oil on wagons and truck bed floors,brushed it on in the fall, and it would soak in before we need them in the spring.

I brush old engine oil on deck in summer when we get a weather fore cast that its going to be sunny and in upper 80s or hotter for several days.

If the deck of trailer is dry and its sunny and hot (90s) and you brush the oil on like paint and you can use the trailer in one day and two at the most.
