ID old IHC Harrow

I previously posted photos of an old IHC harrow which I'm rebuilding and wanted to ID. The consensus was that it was a model 9-A, 6 ft. wide. I then obtained an original Owner's Manual for 9A & 9B dated 5-29-47. There is certainly a lot of similarity and I know that many details are upgraded during the life of the model run.
The most significant differences are the scraper blade mounting and the bearing housings. The scraper blades on mine are through-bolted onto a round pipe vs. the 9A where they are attached with U-bolts. Also I don't have the adjusting lever or spring as shown in the manual.
The bearing housings and mounting brackets in the 9A parts list are a different design than the parts used on my unit. Doing a little research I found that the parts I have are the same as were used on the Farmall 23A harrow. I believe the 23A was produced in the 50's or 60's.
So all of this suggests that my harrow might be the successor to the 9A. Anyone know what that was? Or do I just have an example of a later version in the model run of 9A's.

I had to read down 1/2 way before I realized you wernt talking about a harrow, but about a disc.

ONLY in phamplets and in dealer showrooms are discs called disc harrows. To the majority of people who farm with them, a harrow is one thing, and a disc is another, and at least up until around 25yrs ago, they didn't co join together.

My Owner's Manual calls it a "Tractor Disk Harrow".

I think it's a regional thing!
I grew up here in NH and they were always called harrows, or a harrow! Not to be confused with spike tooth harrows or spring tooth harrows.
Another oddity is that we never heard the term "drags", and at 77 years of age, I'm still not sure what they are!
I have, however, adapted to calling a disc harrow a disc! LOL

I wonder if what you have was also called a Cub disk made for the Farmall Cub tractors? How many blade wide per gang do you have 5 or 6? I think the smallest 9A or 10A disks were 7 blade on a side per gang. I have owners manuals for both 9A and 10A but hard to tell difference. Growing up had what was thought to have been a 9A but looks more in manuals like it was a 10A.

Like I said, (Only in Phamplet)/manuals are they called disc harrows. BUT what do I know. Im only 68, and have been farming using a IHC single wing disc since 68 to farm with
