poly brush auger for small grains

Havent used before, picked up at an auction, thought it was a fertilizer auger, then thought it was a steel bristle brush auger, now that I
had time to check it out, I see its a poly brush auger. I do plan on using for bulk soybean seed, but do these work okay for small frains
such as rye or oats?? Thinking about putting in 40 acres of oats and this would sure save my already shot lower back with not having fill
drill with sacks of seed. I believe its a sudenga.

They work for small grains, although they pull hard compared to a steel screw auger. Seeds (especially small seeds), tend to stick in the brush flighting and you will find a mixture for a bit when you switch to another seed.
