Detroit Harvester 14-1 or 14-2 sickle mower

Hi everyone. My mower has a broken bracket. Its the piece that connects the Pittman arm to the sickle section. I'm in a bind and need to see if anybody has the part laying around or if they think a weld will hold up? See pictures.

If that part were mine I think I would braze it back together.
