Fert/lime spreaders

I just bought a 10' Gandy, but haven't gotten it home yet. I'm sure you're talking about new ones though. This one is probably from the forties, but has been well cared for.

How many lbs/volume do want to spread at a time?

I have a Lely model H (I believe that's correct), it must be 45 years old and rusted too - but once calibrated, I feel it is a very good spreader.

Ours has the extension on the hopper. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Good luck,
Bill

Our local extension office has a BBI speader. I've not used it but have heard good things about it. I've seen it up close and it looks well built. Have no idea bout the cost.

We have a fert spreader that can handle all types of lime - wet and pelleted. The wet is a fraction of the cost and works quicker. www.sidesspreaders.com Our spreader can also handle compost, seed and most anything else.
