Woods Paint

Does anyone know of a good alternative to Woods Burnt Orange OEM paint? I have had to repaint an SB74 snowblower twice in the past 5 years. The Woods spray can paint quality seems just plain horrible. Looses gloss quickly, fades and flakes off both times. Have prepped the painting surface properly. Paint that I got is same garbage from two different dealers for something like $20 per can.

I matched the color as close as I could with TSC Paint 8 Years ago on my 372 Woods and it stayed on just fine..

Did you clean it off REAL Good..?
Use any Primer..?
I didn't even use any Primer on mine..and it gets a real work-out every Summer..

Ron.

Ron, yep -- I did the prep right and did use primer. I'll see what TSC has. I also saw that Case IH has a Power Tan color used on their bulldozers, etc. Looks awful close to Woods orange. The paint that TSC had before Majic was good paint like you're saying. Remember back in late 90's I painted a Woods mower with Prairie Gold from TSC!
